Process

How an inspection runs

No surprises, no hourly meter, no report you need a degree to read.

  1. 01

    You describe the problem

A phone call or the form. What the property is, what you are worried about, and what you need the result for — an insurer, a contractor, your own records. That last part changes how we capture it.

  2. 02

    We confirm scope and price

A flat quote before anything is scheduled. If the site sits in controlled airspace or has access constraints, we sort the authorisation out ahead of the visit, not on the day.

  3. 03

    We capture on site

Most residential jobs take under an hour. Aerial work flies a planned pattern so coverage is consistent and repeatable. Underwater work is watched live on a screen, so you can point at something and ask us to go back to it.

  4. 04

    We process and review

Imagery is sorted, positioned and reviewed. Anything that looks like a defect gets flagged, described in plain language, and pinned to where it is.

  5. 05

    You get the record

An interactive viewer plus the raw files. Yours to keep, yours to forward. If you need a second opinion from an engineer or roofer, they get the same view you do.

Common questions

Are we too far away from you?

Almost certainly not. We work across Alabama and the whole kit travels in one truck, so distance affects how soon we can get there and what the travel costs — never whether we take the job. If the trip does not make sense for what you need, we will say so rather than pad the quote.

Do you need to come inside?

For most aerial work, no — we can launch from a driveway or lot. Interior access only matters if the scope includes it.

What about weather?

Rain, fog and high wind ground the aircraft. Underwater visibility varies with conditions too. We reschedule rather than deliver imagery that will not stand up.

Can you fly anywhere?

Most places. Airspace near airports requires FAA authorisation, which we handle in advance. Some sites are genuinely restricted, and we will tell you before you pay anything.

Do you repair what you find?

No — and that is deliberate. We do not quote repairs on what we inspect, so there is no incentive to find problems that are not there.

Is this a home inspection?

No. We document specific structures and produce imagery and findings. A licensed home inspector performs a whole-home condition assessment. The two work well together.

How deep can the ROV go?

Well beyond what a recreational diver would work at, and far past the depth of typical lake, dock and intake structures. Depth and current limits are confirmed before the visit.
